Community Curation Project

Apply to become a curator. Tell us a bit about yourself, the books you love, and why you want to curate a shelf at Under the Umbrella. All identities are welcome to apply, but we will prioritize accepting those with marginalized identities. Local queer organizations are also welcome to apply!

If you are chosen as a curator, you can choose up to 15 books to display on the community bookshelf for the month. All books must be queer in some way, and Under the Umbrella retains final approval of book choices to ensure they align with the store's and community's values.

5% of the sales of your curated book selections will be donated to the organization of your choice. Local organizations are preferred, but national and international organizations are also accepted. Under the Umbrella retains final approval of donors to ensure the safety of our community.
