Under the Umbrella is a small bookstore and currently has one full-time staff member and two part-time staff. As we grow, we are committed to hiring queer folks with a passion for queer storytelling. We are not currently hiring at this time.

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn (they/she), the owner of Under the Umbrella Bookstore. I identify primarily as queer, but specifically as pansexual and agender/genderqueer. Those are words I didn't know existed 10 years ago, and books helped me learn about my own identity as well as those of people around me.
