RESISTANCE - Palestinian Resistance and Solidarity
Over the past 100+ days, we have all witnessed the atrocities being committed against the Palestinian people livestreamed to our phones. The Palestinian people have experienced oppression for decades, and the people of the world are now calling for an end to the occupation and a free Palestine. We at Under the Umbrella believe that what is happening in Gaza affects us all. How does this affect you and your community? Are you learning anything about your community through the lens of this crisis? (Disclaimer: Humanitarian crises do not have to affect you personally for them to matter to you.)

The Under the Umbrella Artist Gallery is open only to local LGBTQIA2S+ artists.
The artist gallery is primarily an opportunity to spotlight the work of local queer artists, while providing a modest revenue stream to keep the bookstore profitable and sustainable. Our commission fee is 40%, meaning artists retain 60% of the sale. Artists set the price of their work, and may adjust their normal rate to accommodate our commission.

At this time, we can only accept 2D artwork, and all artwork must be installation ready.
