Queer Speed Dating

Join us for a queer book-themed speed dating event! Queer speed dating is about more than finding a potential love match. We're here to find community in all its forms. Name tags will be provided so you can include your pronouns and what type of relationship you are looking for.

Please plan to be here between 5:30 and 6 p.m. to check in so we can start promptly at 6. If you are not here by 6:30 p.m.,  you will not be able to participate, and we cannot refund your ticket. 

January's book of the month is The Subtweet by Vivek Shraya

Celebrated multidisciplinary artist Vivek Shraya's second novel is a no-holds-barred examination of the music industry, social media, and making art in the modern era, shining a light on the promise and peril of being seen.

Buy a copy of the book of the month from the store (our affiliate links on Bookshop.org and Libro.fm count, but please note that not all books are available on those platforms) to gain entry to the event. If you already own the book, your entry fee is $10. If you can't afford the $10 entrance fee, you may purchase a discounted tickets. Discounted tickets are limited, so please use them fairly.

Read at least part of the book so you have something to chat about with your potential matches!
