Every month, local artists and friends of the bookstore bring queer vendors into our Umbrella Cafe space to share their queer goodies with the bookstore community. Each month features a new rotation of queer artists, vendors and performers. This event is free and open to all to attend. Shop queer all year!

Info for Queer Vendors

This event is organized by Shanna of Space Babes Art and Stevie of TStarklings Art. Please contact them with all questions!

These markets happen every month but are planned quarterly. Vendor applications for April - June will open in February and stay open for 2 weeks. Any time applications are live, we'll have them linked in our Instagram bio. New applications after not accepted after they close. Soon these markets will have their own Instagram page, keep your eye out!

If you are a maker interested in participating in a Pop-up Market at Under the Umbrella Bookstore, please see our Pop-up policy here: Accessibility & Parking

Accessibility is very important to us and parking can be tricky if you're not used to visiting downtown shops like ours! Please visit the Accessibility page (under the About tab) here on our website for full accessibility, transit, and parking information. Or give us a call and ask!

COVID Policy

Masks are required in the bookstore, and typically optional in the cafe, though during events we require masks in the cafe as well, unless eating or drinking. Air purifiers run continuously in the space.
