About the Event

This October we bring you a celebration of the work of author David Bowles. In honor of the release of David’s book, The Prince & the Coyote, we will be speaking with him about the themes of ancestry, identity, connection, and Latinidad through out his book and career.

After our talk, you will get a chance to get your copy of The Prince & the Coyote (available here) signed, and to participate in either a prose or poetry workshop. These workshops are beginner friendly!

As part of the event, we will be giving away 20 FREE copies of the book to the first 20 folks who arrive.

Register here for the fun on Saturday, October 7th from 1-3 pm at the SLCC West Valley Center.

This event is free and open to the public!

*Masks are strongly encouraged. Have questions or need ADA accommodations? Reach out to Olga Hernandez Favela at 801-957-3657.
